Out Look of Web Page

It depend upon you what kind of page you are designing and for what purpose. A number of templates are also available on different website. First of all you have to draw a rough sketch. According to this sketch make divisions for different elements or information.  

Purpose of Web Page

What is your purpose to design your page? You have different purposes.

• To advertise your institution or products

• To give general information to peoples

• Commercial or Non-commercial web site

You should design according to your themes or ideas.

Selection of Designing Tool or Language

The foremost thing is the selection of designing tool or language through which you have to design your web page. If you are expert in Markup Language, you can use this but the easiest way to design is the selection of designing tool. A number of designing tools are available. The two major tools are

• Microsoft Front Page

• Dreamware

Elements of Page

Tables, Buttons, Forms, Text Boxes etc. are called Elements of the Page.  Adjust them in such a manner that visitors can easily approach them.

Ranking of Page

Your page must have high ranking on the Search Engines so that a large number of visitors can see your contents. For this purpose your keyword density should be large.

• Do not use synonyms.

• Use your keywords in meta tags.

• Use Anchor Text (internal or external links)

• Use Heading 1 ( <H1> tag ) for main keyword

• Use headings h2, h3 or h4 for other keywords

• Upload your page time to time

• Use your title as main keyword
